dimensions - each piece that we produce live up to these standards of precision.
- Wood treatment: The wood is carefully selected and processed to keep the grain
structure suitably aligned. It is then treated to control the moisture by a technique
developed by our own R&D. With the cheaper nameless brands out here, you can
be taken in by the outward polish and appearance, but find that it is susceptible to
warping and variations in dimensions.
- The Smallest Details: Each of our pegs is handcrafted which gives them a finer
collar and a better head to give the instrument a better look. The pegs are
tapered to a dimension slightly thicker than that required for the end use. The final
tapering is done by the end user using a peg-sharpener corresponding to a
reamer.
