A classic 1950s casting in pure brass of a Roman gladiator battling a lion. 16 lbs of pure brass on this huge 17" beautifully sandcast brass collectible. Will not rust and will not weather, even in your garden, unlike cheap cast-iron figures. Slot in the hand for carrying a suitable standard. The piece is in exceptional condition for something this age and the paint is intact in most places on the front of the statue but only a couple of slight flakings of the paint on the back side..
